This place just makes me sad and sick all at once. All those little dogs in their cages make me want to cry. No reputable breeder would allow his or her dogs to go out willy-nilly sold through a pet store, and the dogs at Wet Pets more than likely come from puppy mills at worst or untrained breeders at best. They smell bad, they look sick, and they're kept in a dirty pen in their own urine and feces and fed low-quality food (ask them to show you the bag they feed from, or look in the pen - it's often in the room with the dogs).
I've never purchased anything from Wet Pets, and I don't plan to, because doing so would be encouraging the continuation of animal cruelty. I hope you'll do the same.
If you're looking for a dog, consider contacting the Montgomery Humane Society or a local breed rescue for the breed of dog you've chosen. You can also search petfinder.com for rescued pets that are desperately in need of a loving home.
