They also have a website: www.wetpaint.com. This art supply store is located next to several universities in Saint Paul, so it's convenient for students. I found excellent service with this store. more

Perfect Papers! 8/20/2005

Best selection of unique, hand-made papers from around the world. The main problem with their abundant and amazing selection is finding time to look at every paper they carry. This is also a great place to find art supplies in general, as their selection is quite complete. However, it is their hand-made papers that really set them apart from anyone else in the area. more

Small but Mighty 8/19/2005

This is an art store that has it where it counts, great selection of paints, brushes, paper. I've only found high quality products there. The framing service is great too. they even have a small selection of clay kits, mostly self-hardening, but it's worth a look. Location is on grand so parking can be difficult. more

Neighborhood Art Store 8/19/2005

Located on a sunny corner of Grand Avenue near Macalester College, Wet Paint is the prototypical small art store. The store boasts a comprehensive selection of art supplies for the amateur or student. Prices are reasonable, and the owners often run hidden specials. I often walk out of wet paint with free materials or an unexpected discount. Employees are helpful. I have been impressed by the stores selection of watercolor brushes and papers. Street parking is never a problem. more

I have really been impressed every time I visit Wet Paint. It is a neat store situated on Grand Avenue not far from Macalester College. It is chock full of art supplies and helpful staff. I was very happy with the help and advice I got the last time I was in there buying handmade paper. more

Wet Paint, located on Historic Grand Avenue, is jam-packed with every kind of art supply imaginable. From drawing to scrapbooking, every art enthusiast will be able to find kaboodles of stuff to satisfy his or her particular needs. They even have a gigantic Sharpie collection! And with pretty decent pricing, this store is well worth a visit. more
