I absolutely love this quaint animal hospital. Dr. Hervatic is so knowledgeable and caring. She really takes the extra time and explains things to her clients. The prices were really reasonable and I would definitely go back again. I recommend this place to anyone who cares about their pet!!! more

One Happy Client 1/28/2011

Had a wonderful experience at Westside Animal. They treated my dog well and were quick to diagnosis his stomach problem. I was able to make an appointment that day and did not have to wait long. The total bill was really reasonable as well. Very pleased with my experience!! Would recommend Westside to anyone. They are now open during the day instead of at night. more

Saw Dr. Austin 6/2/2009

Truly awful experience. I had a very sick cat, they lost her lab work, had to re do it which cost me another days hospitalization. Oh and he was so funny, he said his initial diagnosis for my cat was "NDW". It means not doing well. isn't that a riot? more

Dr. Gary Adams 1/17/2009

This wonderful Vet is nothing short of brilliant, quick with diagnosis - which is what it is all about. He is kind and calm very direct and the animals in the waiting room are never nervous. The clients in the waiting room are always talking about how happy they are to have found him after having so many bad experiences with other vets wasting their money and time.\r My siamese Bisou is 20 years old because of him.\r \r Thank You ..to West Side Animal Emergency and all the great staff.\r \r Jennifer Wood more

I absolutely love Dr. Gary Adams. He is always so calming and patient with me and the dogs. He is also honest and very trustworthy. His staff is fabulous and I know I'm always in good hands. more

Empathetic, Convenient and Smart 4/2/2008

I highly recommend visiting Gary Adams at Westside Animal Emergency Hospital. It isn't only for emergencies. He is actually my dog's regular vet now. I have a dog that gets chronic UTIs due to a car accident and multiple surgeries he has had to repair his bladder. We are on a long road to recovery, but Gary is so optimistic, genuine and strategic in his approach. \r \r I had been to 3 vets to try to find the right one. This place is it. more

Excellent 6/14/2005

Thankfully I've only had to bring pets here on two occasions, both late-night emergencies. The vets and staff were extremely caring and helpful and took great care of the dogs. They made stressful situations much more bearable. more

GREAT EMERGENCY VET 4/26/2005

I had a cat with congestive heart failure. At one point, he was very sick one night, and I needed to get him treated ASAP. I was able to call these people on my cell on the way there, get him in, and on oxygen immediately. If it had not been for these people, and their quickness with our emergency, my cat would have died in my arms. PROS: THAT THEY ARE THERE CONS: more

I took my cat into North Bay and they were great! They are friendly and caring. That is the most important to me, the caring for the animal part. They are emergency only so the hours are different but I have peace of mind knowing they are there!! more

These folks are a class act. They offer veterinary and boarding services for cats only, so no fights with Fido when you go in for a visit. They have evening hours for working people, too. I was just so impressed with their competence and sensitivity. They're pricey, but offer packages of vaccinations and wellcare that can save you $$. more
