Westport Touchless Autowash

GREEDY or LAZY? The commercial says dirty truck in clean truck out. My truck wasn't any dirtier than those on the commercial. The attendent wanted an extra 5$ for muddy truck, it's spring in Iowa and I live on a gravel road, of course it's muddy. I think $12 is plenty for a wash. When I said $5 for mud the attendant pointed to the sign and it said extra for mud, not how much extra just extra. I wouldn't pay the extra and he handed me the money back. He then turned to the crew inside and told them I wasn't coming through and they all began to cheer. I was the only vehicle at the place and they were ecstatic that they didn't have to work. I think this is false advertising to show muddy trucks going in and clean coming out, but not telling you that it is extra. more

Went there tonight. 2 cars in the car wash, but the attendant said they were closed. I ask why time did they close and he mention at 6 pm. This was at 5:50 pm. I guess they don't need the money or repeat business. :-( more

I have read the complaints about some of the washes and I have to comment. This is as good of a autowash as you will find except for. 1. cold weather washes are not as good unless their is a line of cars and they have the car wash warmed up. 2. Some of the kids spend to much time spraying your windshild or hood versus the lower sided and rear where the hard to get of dirt is. Some appear bored at what they are doing. 3. The $8.00 wash is all you need as the more money you spend the more waxes and chemicals they spray on that dont do much. We all live and learn. Good Luck more

Left dust all over the car from not rinsing the soap off properly. Also scratched my car while doing the manual hose spray down. DO NOT RECOMMEND. more

This place is slipping. The last 2 times I went through they didn't properly spray off the back of my SUV and it was still dirty - and also, one of the guys operating a spray at the beginning let his hose bang against the side of my (brand new) vehicle repeatedly. more

Westport Touchless Autowash in Coralville Iowa is a great place to get your car washed. All you have to do is drive up pay and drive through the automatic car wash. First the employees spray down your car then your go right in and drive through the car wash. Every time I have taken my car there I have always had a great experience and I would recommend Westport to anyone who wants a great place to wash their car. more

Confession here....I am married to a man who is OCD (that's obsessive compulsive disorder) big time! Don't get me wrong, I like clean but he is just plain ....well....obsessed about it! So when Westport touchless opened another auto wash in Coralville I was thrilled! For years I had gone across town to the Westport there but with busy schedules and such I wasn't going as much as I liked......then this was opened! With a reasonable price and even an option to buy the wash when filling up the car at the nearby gas station, I couldn't miss. The attendants are always friendly and on the spot to scrub an errant bug or two away or give the car that little extra "umph" that is needed to make it spiffy and nice. And the spotless drying....what can I say, my car gleams!!! So, come on out to Coralville and visit Westport touchless.....you won't be sorry you did. But I've got to warn you, it's going to become a fast favorite of yours...it has mine! more
