It was Houston's only top notch dollar cinema that the interior rivaled even today's mega theaters. Too bad it is closed. Tilt arcade was next door to it and I recall spending every weekend here in the 90s. It was the thing to do on a budget and the place was very clean, comfy, the screen was superb and it had surround sound and when it closed, the last day of it was even on Houston's local news. I miss this place so much! Windchimes is okay but man its like watching a DVD in a dark, dank smelly alley more

gr8 old memories 12/17/2009

Grew up through my pre-teens & teens going there watching movies with family and playing @ the onsite TILT (local arcade place)....They have been closed now but another called Windchimes has opened up further westbound on Westheimer near Eldridge intersection on East side of the westheimer rd. Older place, a tad bit funky smelling but LOVE THE PRICES....fantastic in today's economy Pros: Price, environment, Price Cons: Can't think of any more

Ghost of Girlfriends Past 7/21/2009

The admission price was definitely the best. Tuesday is even more of a value day with movie prices of $1.00 only for each movie. The theatre was clean and comfortable. The temperature was pleasantly cool. I was truly satisfied. Although, the concession prices were extremely high this destination for an outting was a great value. Pros: Movie was really good!
