Best

I really like this course. The price is right and staffs are friendly. On weekends, it's bit busy but you can still enjoy it. The driving range is pretty nice and the lessons...

Worst

I find the back nine to be way too noisy from the freeway. And it has too many 3's. I don't hate the course, but would easily be talked into playing elsewhere in the area.

Just keep driving.... 6/14/2008

For the $12.50 twilight rate I felt robbed! To say this is an executive course would be a complement. \r Pros: Cheap in the land of expensive golf and easy Tee Times Cons: There's a reason it's cheap & easy to get Tee Times more

good course for a beginner like me 5/28/2003

This course is perfect for the beginners including myself. Good sales on the golfwears at the club house, too. more

you gotta be kidding 3/13/2003

Who did this research. When my kid turns 4, or my Dad turns 90, this will be when I play this course again. Ridiculous poll. more

What a JOKE!! 3/13/2003

Westlake Village is a flat featurless over-rated overpriced piece of crap. The only challenge is getting out from under the trees without breaking your arms & wrists on the tree roots. more

pitch 'n putt-putt 3/5/2003

my fiancee & i play it because she has never played before. It is pre-beginner--no challenge, no ambiance, barely as stroll in the park. but a nice driving range and people. Pros: easy, easy, easy Cons: easy, easy, easy more

Too Many Par Threes 3/5/2003

Course has been altered due to errarant balls landing on the freeway. Several holes were shortened to par threes. Any course with so many par three holes can not be rated as a top course Cons: too may par threes, freeway noise, Too short more

Blue Hair City 12/3/2002

This has got to be the slowest course I have ever played. It is rarely in even descent shape and the tight layout makes dodging errant shots the only good exercise you will get. Cons: Slow Play, Not Challenging, Rude Golfers more

Too short 11/14/2002

Interesting but this is a short course. Good quality, but too short to rank with championship level courses in this survey. Vastly overcrowded and slower play than most munis for its length. Pros: playability, maintenance, driving range Cons: price, length, chipping area more

Noisy Exec 10/2/2002

I find the back nine to be way too noisy from the freeway. And it has too many 3's. I don't hate the course, but would easily be talked into playing elsewhere in the area. more

Your kidding! 10/2/2002

Westlake is ok if you have 6 hours to play golf! Its short, lots of people, played so much that if your tee time is after 11 am, the greens look and feel like your putting on a moto cross track. A good course for beginners or seniors. more

local player 10/2/2002

Short track with lots of trees and fairways with thin grass...traps could use more sand! Play it from the tips if your index is 15 or better...there are lots of beginners on this course so ""watch-out""! more

Nice Course! 7/25/2002

I play about once a week, and I love it. It's a well kept golf course and people work there are all nice. Pros: Inexpensive, Nice Staff, Well kept more
