Good for basic needs 9/11/2006

We have used this locally owned drug store for many years and it is allright. It can take a little while until they have your prescription ready but only if they are busy. For some reason they cannot seem to get our address right which is mixed up with other members of our family, but other than that every order so far was filled out to our satisfaction. Their gift shop is nice and they send out a thin catalog once or twice a year with special offers. They have a nice selection of greeting cards and there are always clearance items in the shelfs on the back wall. Their derorative items seem to be a bit expensive but I often find things you don't see anywhere else. more

Slow service, cramped store 10/6/2005

I have gotten prescriptions here several times and have always had to wait a very long time to get them filled. The store is tiny and cramped. They have some cute collectibles, and an ice cream "parlor". But, it doesn't keep you occupied long enough. I prefer getting prescriptions filled at larger stores so there is more to do while I wait. more

We are an HQAA-Accredited provider of limited durable medical equipment ( e.g. blood sugar testing supplies, nebulizers ). Since 1978, Pat has provided the highest quality patient care and has been the owner of Westlake Drug. He continues to practice as Pharmacist at least two days per week and actively coordinates all of the activities going on in the pharmacy and the gift store. In 2006, Derek joined Westlake Drug as a Pharmacist. Derek is available in the pharmacy at least three days each week and spends the other days each week in the business office.. Pharmacies
