I called to ask about an item that I needed in the garden section. When I explained to the kid what I needed, he acted like he couldn't have cared less. Instead of going and checking on what he had, he apparently just looked out the window and said he didn't think he had it. What has happened to customer service. Does the management not understand or care that a large part of how their store is perceived is about positive customer service. I will not consider purchasing at this store again. more

Friendliest Hardware Store I've Ever Visited 2/14/2009

As a new homeowner of an old house, I've spent a lot of time in hardware stores. I've gotten tired of not finding what I need in the big box stores (sometimes b/c there's too much stuff too look through) or struggling to find someone who has a clue of what I'm looking for. Pros: Easier fo find items, helpful and knowledgeable staff Cons: Not as much variety as the big box more
