Favorite Pastry Shop 4/28/2010

My siblings and I grew up just blocks away from this wonderful bakery. The meltaway pastries are a pleasure, especially when warmed for a moment in the microwave. The chocolate frosting on the donuts is rich, as are the delicious radio bars. The 5 layer caramel iced cake has a wonderful texture. Make sure to try a Christmas Tree coffee cake this December. Pros: great frostings, good chocolate, delicious pastries Cons: 500 miles away from my current home more

Hygiene? 7/31/2009

The employees use the same tissue over and over, putting it their apron pocket between customers. That's not proper food hygiene. They make change after each sale, then use the same tissue. They have never provided napkins and now this. Not only is it frugal to the max, but something that I would think is against food safety standards. Pros: Donuts are good Cons: cheap, cheap, cheap more
