If zero were possible right now might use it. Since Dr. Taddeo seemed wonderful and I had previously had no issue there with her in any form - one fair. However she is on maternity leave and you should avoid at all cost before she returns....certainly Dr. Velling - who no wonder left his practice in Ashburn July 2013 - the worst.\r

Tried to get regular maintenance meds for 2 cats (7 + years on them - not new) as the promised large bottle never seemed to happen....and was told they needed blood work to fill (no issue there). Tried to explain they wouldn't be in until I had results of bloodwork on dog in CHF who already had an appointment there in 7 days (recheck new meds) and if that didn't require another $700 trip to cardiologist I would schedule on same phone call for their bloodwork. Then he tries to tell me he thinks I need more expensive bloodwork on one of them (Dr T didn't require/suggest this) and when I tried to explain I had priority of sickest animal and being certain I had funds to get thru this crisis he says he didn't ask or care about my finances and hung up on me. I had to call back to see if they were even getting a refill.....yes - OK good - so I go in and it is less pills for 3X more than I regularly pay. No accident obviously......I am still in shock that these are people who work with animals...NOT MINE ANYMORE!\r

Interestingly the reviews of his previous practice blast them for expensive tests suggested at every turn - I could have used this next one myself to describe my call - "" do not find this office trustworthy. I feel like they were trying to take advantage of my wallet, persuade me for shots that my dog doesn't need and the attitude the vet had when I asked a simple question"".....guess that is what is now in the future at SAH - sad very sad Dr. T seemed so much better than this!\r
