Westfield Shoppingtown Garden State Plaza

This is one of my favorites malls at which to shop. It is located in New Jersey, but isn't too far away from the city. The mall is huge and has all the "normal" stores that you would expect as well as tons of boutiques. The mall is kept very well and is always clean and well lit. The corridors are wide and easy to walk through and there is plenty of parking. I enjoy the food court which has a lot of options. There are also a good number of restaurants in the mall including my favorite, California Pizza Kitchen. more

Westfield Shoppingtown is one of the best malls that I have ever been to. It is located in Paramus off of Route 4 and 17. It is a huge mall, big enough that people actually come there on winter mornings to run inside because it is too cold outside. Every major store that you can think of, ranging from department stores like Nordstrom, Macy's, and JC Penny to clothing stores like Banana Republic, Gap, Express, and Abercrombie is there. The mall is very nicely laid out and is also well maintained. It gets really busy on Saturdays, especially since it is located in Bergen County which has blue laws restricting store openings on Sundays. There is also a nice food court with tons of options from Taco Bell to sushi. You can pretty much find almost anything that you are looking for at the mall. more

Garden State Plaza is one of the biggest malls I've witnessed housing many, many department and retail stores. It's an adventure all onto itself just making a trip over there. Big named stores such as Macy's, Old Navy, JC Penny, Nordstrom's, Borders, and the like are the cornerstore of the mall with other specialty stores rounding up the rest. A few restaurants and movie theatres are nearby rounding up the experience. Just be prepared for the huge crowds and heavy traffic when venturing to this place. more
