I was referred to WSS by a reputable tile company as I was not only looking for tile but granite slabs. While speaking with the owner, Todd, I was told that he worked with a company called Pro Lo Carpets in Gardnerville whom offered cabinetry. Knowing I was looking for cherry, Todd indicated that they had the best prices he had found with great craftmanship, made locally in Gardnerville. I thought this would be great to keep my business local. Todd came to my home being totally remodeled and measured my kitchen, laundry room, 3 baths and bar for cabinets. I waited over 4 months to get my cabinets and during the wait time, Todd would not return calls and when he finally did it was always ""they're on their way..two more weeks"" and so forth. When the cabinets finally came, they were shipped with zero packing material, face to face so the scratches and dings were numerous. When my installer picked them up and got them to my house, they were ALL the wrong size. Todd measured completely wrong, his diagrams and everything were wrong. They had to be picked up and sent back. THEN, they got lost twice in shipping, splintered pieces at one point..and turns out THEY WERE MADE IN CHINA. Then I finally get them another two months. The owner of Pro Lo came to my house and saw ALL of this. It's never happened before, I was told, we're so sorry and on and on. I get the next set of cabinets and they are warped, splitting at the corners and shrinking, exposing the inner edges beneath the stain. I've had to replace my product TWICE and now hear I am, with exposed wood beneath the stain show around EVERY door and drawer face with people asking why my beautiful home has these awful cabinets. The owner of Pro Lo called me months ago telling me I would have new door faces and I've heard nothing from him since and they expect me to pay labor a 3rd time to have the doors replaced!! Not only was Todd incompetent and lied to me at every turn, he was evasive and misleading. Her partner Sumi, was plain rude, threatening me that he would take ME to court for the balance on the cabinets. My labor costs exceed that balance and I will not pay for such junk. Todd and Sumi blamed one another in their individual calls to me, nobody taking responsibility and just passing the buck at every turn. Todd will use his religious persona to mislead and pull the wool over an unsuspecting persons eyes. I am disheartened and disgusted at this experience which has spanned over one year without sufficient resolve.
