Westergaard Kennels

The person who gave this place one star must be a TOTAL idiot. No dugh there is a special fee for after hours pickup. can you imagine the disruption of people going in and out at all hours. Thats part of what makes this place so unique is that your pet has a routine, and not a bunch of disfunction or disturbance. I wouldn't be afraid to board my child there, LOL. You can tell when your pet hates to go somewhere, my pets LOVE it. =P too bad reviews are always with some kind of idiot who does stuff like that. Besides being simply breathtaking, when do you ever go to a kennel where the dogs are all howling and barking. This place is calm and clean. go see for yourself. We have had no problems boarding our dogs at Westergaard. Our dogs are happy and healthy when we pick them up. Their prices are competitive for the area. The facility is clean and well-kept and their love for animals shows. It is great to have such a wonderful place taking care of the dog members of our family; we know that they are well taken care of the whole time we are gone! more

Staff is rude and gives the impression of being inconvenienced by boarding your pet. Don't be deceived by the beautiful country setting. Owner actually hung up on us, when we requested to pick our dogs up early. Also, there is a $50 fee to pick them up outside of business hours, even though we just wanted to pick them up an hour and a half early on the weekend (1 p.m. in the afternoon!?!) and the owner/staff were home! I would not, under any circumstances leave my dogs there or recommend it to anyone ever again. more

We have been bringing our dogs to this kennel for 3 years and have been more than pleased with their care. Our dogs come home after a stay at Westergaard healthy and happy. The staff is always friendly and are happy to answer any questions. Their prices are competitive. I recommend Westergaard to anyone looking for a safe kennel location. more
