West Seattle Convenient Care offers after-hours, walk-in urgent care for wounds, sprains, flu, injuries, and other urgent medical needs, after the day time practice closes at this clinic.
This is a GREAT option for those of us who don't want to sit in a hospital's Emergency Room for hours, waiting your turn (and paying a lot of money at the end of the ordeal). This clinic is staffed by a Board certified physician who is an extremely kind, knowledgeable, and practical man (not to mention affordable!).

My personal experience:
I had a terrible fall and injured my vertebra / spinal chord back in November. I thought my only recourse was going to the E.R., and I was not looking forward to sitting in pain, in a room full of sick people, waiting my turn for hours. I called West Seattle Convenient Care to see if this was something they could handle. The doctor came on the phone, asked specific questions, determined that his care was indeed appropriate, and I was seen immediately. (Only 10 minutes from downtown Seattle no less!).
The visit was wonderful... Dr. Harrington was quickly able to assess the situation, answer my questions, calm my concerns, and get me started on the road to recovery. Days after, he continued to follow up and I'm happy to report that I'm making an excellent recovery!
