As a listener of WELJ (WOW) 90.9FM christian radio, I have been introduced to this business. West Mobile Music is donating guitars to be given away on this station. This business is providing a blessing to the community and God's people. As a listener in the Mobile area I am proud to see a business man stand up and put God first in their business. America needs more businesses like this one. The people of Mobile need to support and be a blessing in return to a business like this one. I reciently visited for the first time and shopped at this business. I met the owner and his dad and they were a delight to talk with. They made me feel like my business was important to them. They took time and were of great help in explaining what I needed to know about the guitar I was looking to buy. This shop has excellent guitars and even greater people working there. As a listner of WELJ radio I thank you for what you are doing to support this great radio station. I ask God to bless this business and for everyone in Mobile to shop at and support this shop. West Mobile Music is by far the best guitar store in town. I've purchased an instrument there, as well as had repairs/installations done, and the quality of work as well as the prices just can't be beat. Everything seems to be priced lower than internet pricing with top-notch products. The Taylor selection is the best around, and they are the only Larivee dealer in town. Not only are they a great guitar store, but they are willing to order almost anything else that you need. I refuse to shop at any other stores on the Gulf Coast! more

This is a great guitar shop. A friend of mine told me about checking out this shop. He had visited it for the first time and found this to be the best shop he has ever gone to. I have gone to all the shops in Mobile and surrounding areas but didn't know about this one. This shop has what you need when you go there. The prices were lower than the internet. The selection of guitars are all quality instruments. The selection of Taylor guitars just blew me away. They are a smaller and sometimes overlooked shop but well worth your time to visit. While being small they have big time service. They greet you at the door and ask if there is any way they can help you. Try getting that from any of the other shops. They keep their guitars in perfect shape unlike the big mega store in town. Most of the mega stores guitars look like they have been thrown from a moving car. I want everyone in and around Mobile to try this shop. This is my new guitar store in this town. more

I am a professional musician, performing for a living. I carried one of my guitars to this business to get it set up. I have had guitars fixed and set up by every store in the Mobile area. I know when a guitar is set up right. This was the best set up that I have ever had done on a guitar in all my years of playing. The guitar plays now like I always thought a guitar should play, smooth and easy. If you have a instrument that doesn't play right get this guy to fix it to play like it should. I am going to carry all my instruments there to have them set up. I was refered to this store by a friend that shops there all the time. This was the best advice this friend has ever given me about a guitar store. Robby I don't know how you set up guitars to play so good but keep it up and your store will get all my business. This was my first time in this store but the owner (Robby) was very professional and told me up front what he could do to help my guitar. I didn't think he could deliver but was I ever wrong. Robby Ryland, the owner of West Mobile Music knows his stuff about guitars. I also bought a new Washburn guitar there and he was so helpful to tell me all I needed to know about the instrument. The price I paid for my instrument was far less than I was expecting to pay. I also had a broken neck repaired on a valuable acoustic guitar. The repair was done where you could not even see the repair. It was very professionally done. I agree with the first review we are lucky to have a businessman in Mobile like this guy, honest , skilled and knowledgeable. I also agree with the first review that this is the best shop in Mobile to by a guitar or have repair work done.. I will shop at this store from now on for anything I need for my instruments. Check this shop out. I am very glad I did. more

This is the best guitar store in Mobile. The owner is very friendly and takes time to explain what ever you need to know about each guitar. Personal service like you have never seen at any guitar shop. They do guitar repairs that are done right the first time. They fixed a broke neck on my guitar that every other shop said couldn't be fixed. They also have the very best quality instruments, and a lot to choose from. Go take a look you can't go wrong.I bought a new Taylor guitar there and the price was far less than every other shop that I checked. There price even beat all the online prices I found. All I can say is they are the best at what they do. You guys Rock!!!! more
