NM doesn't accommodate motorcyclist as much as the East Coast does or there would be many more shops to deal with. I had to get my Honda Gold Wing repaired and their wasn't a place in Santa Fe, NM so had to go to the closest shop to me to get an estimate which happened to be West Honda. I got my estimate for repairs which cost me just over $100.00 that I could submit to the insurance company and when the insurance company said to get those things repaired I made an appointment and this shop couldn't find my paperwork (their system is lame) I had to go home and get my copy and call them with all the part numbers and description and costs. Then the estimate they gave me was wrong it had parts they looked up in a book and didn't even look to see what was on the bike to give me a good estimate. To top it all off some of the parts they quoted they now said I really didn't need to have replaced. I had to find one part myself to replace because they told me they couldn't find it (They are a dealer and repair shop for Honda DA). Before I came to pick up the bike from repairs I ask them to straighten the passenger arm rests which was also a problem in the accident and they said they couldn't and also couldn't find a replacement. When I came to get the bike it had a fish eye mini mirror missing that was on the rear view mirror when I dropped it off and gaps between the mirrors and the body that where not there before, they tried to fix it and broke the trim. They did fix that at no cost but took another trip from Santa Fe. Now you want to hear the very worst of the whole ordeal.....When I called back to see how long it would be before they will fix the trim and maybe find new arm rests the maintenance manager told me THEY thought I didn't trust their work and ask me to take my business elsewhere, they would fix the damages trim but will not do any more business with me because they didn't think I trusted their work. BAD REVIEW...well yes and this will be put on their site and HONDA also. Would I recommend this place, NO because they don't have the experience to deal in business. What happened to doing what the customer wants (they are paying for it). I hope they get someone that knows what they are doing, I bet now that I have to find my new arm rests I can do it because I take the time to research which is what this business is suppose to do. We as customers trust they know what they are doing when we have to trust the dealership that the bike manufactured uses. I was very dissatisfied with the maintenance manager and the quality of work done there and will NEVER take my work to them EVER AGAIN. The sad thing is there is only one other Honda Motorcycle shop in Albuquerque, NM and have been told they are worse then West Honda in Rio Rancho, NM.
