I took my 2006 F150 to West Herr 0n 12/26/11 because my 4 wheel drive wouldn't engage . At that time it had 91150 miles on it . At pick up they informed me the lower ball joints were loose and needed replacement , estimated cost around $1200 if I remember correctly.The truck now has over 150000 miles on it and I just put new tires on it and had the front end aligned . I emphasized that the shop check the ball joints and the entire front end before I invest $1000 into new tires . The ball joints and steering parts all are fine ! I had 4 new tires installed and only a slight adjustment to the toe was needed for the alignment . Over 60,000 miles after being told I needed ball joints my truck rides great with no suspension or steering issues. SHAME ON YOU WEST HERR DONT BE SO GREEDY ! more

I am 78 years old and my wife and I have been buying cars for over 60 years. I left a dealership we had bought eight cars from over the years because they would not honor a promise they made to my wife. Since my wife and I had no previous relationship with West Herr or it's sales people I expected the usual haggle when negotiating with the sales person. I'll make it short, it never happened. Leasing the Ford Fusion was the most pleasant experience I ever had at a car dealership. When we were stuck on a difference in our budgeted allowance for the lease and the actual lease price, the sales person brought both the sales manager and the finance manager to the conference room were we were able to work out a solution to the problem. No back room discussion between the sales person and "Management"; but an open friendly negotiation to arrive at a solution. Your service depertment is first class also. My name is Constance Coleman , I have a 2008 ford escape limited edition . I was very pleased with my truck until a pipe was hanging off from under neath . I got the truck in July of 2011 , I didn't think to crawl under the car ,only to see every thing was rusted .We haven't had much snow so I know it was like this when I got it . I feel like I was dooped or I went to Joe's used car lot where you get ripped off , not West herr ford . This is my 3rd car I got from you guys , just thought I'd let you know ,before I face book and tweet to eveyone I know and the hospital I work at beware of West herr ford. more

Walking into West Herr as a 22 year-old girl, I was expected to be ignored, as I was at most dealerships. Immediately upon walking into West Herr Ford of Amherst, I was greeted by the General Manager, Ryan Garrigan. He set me up with Chuck Salzwimmer, who showed me the car I was interested in. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and answered all of the questions that I had, no matter how specific they were. At no point during the entire process did I feel pressured or annoyed. I knew that buying my car was my choice to make, and when I was ready to buy, Chuck and Ryan were there to help me. I was dead-set on a black 2010 Mariner Premier, but none were available in this area. They found exactly the car I wanted hundreds of miles away, and sent someone to Michigan to get it for me. Chuck truly loves what he does, and is great at being non-evasive, but extremely helpful. I absolutely love my car, and experience at this dealership, and will continue to refer friends and family to both Chuck and West Herr. more
