WENT TO WEST END AND HAD A GREAT DINNER. ORDERED SOME WINE TO HAVE FOR DINNER AND THE WINE WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED AND THEREFORE NOTIFIED THE WAITRESS THAT THE WINE WAS NOT THE TASTE THAT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE AND ASKED IF I COULD ORDER A DIFFERENT DRINK WHICH I DID WHICH WAS MUCH BETTER. WHEN IT WAS TIME TO PAY THE BILL, THE WINE WAS STILL ON MY BILL AND WAS TOLD THAT EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED I STILL HAD TO PAY FOR THE DRINK THAT I DIDNOT DRINK. TOLD ME TO CALL SOME NUMBER IF I WANTED TO HAVE IT REMOVED FROM MY BILL AND THAT I HAD TO PAY FOR IT BECAUSE I ORDERED IT OFF THE MENU, OF COURSE I ORDERED IT OFF THE MENU, WHERE ELSE WOULD I ORDER IT FROM. WHERE IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE, SHE DOES REALIZE THAT THEY MAKE THERE MONEY FROM THE CUSTOMERS AND THAT IT IS GOOD BUSINESS TO MAKE SURE THAT THE CUSTOMER IS SATISFIED WITH THEIR DINING EXPERIENCES SO THAT THEY CAN RECEIVE GOOD REVIEWS WHICH LEADS TO MORE PROFITS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT. MADE THE STATEMENT THAT SHE COULD NOT HAVE PEOPLE COMING IN AND ORDERING A DRINK, TAKING A SIP AND SAYING THEY DON'T LIKE IT AND NOT PAY FOR IT, UM EXCUSE ME HOW ABOUT PAYING FOR SOMETHING WORTH PAYING FOR. \r \r OVERALL: FOOD- GREAT, SERVICE- SUCKS more

The place is usually good IF you can get service. Wait staff is slow... Food has consistant quality to above average but that means little when you can't even get a drink without phoning the manager more

West End has a great atmosphere to meet up with friends or clients for a drink. There is lots of seating, a few pool tables and a great bar! They have a nice appetizer and menu to choose from if you want a meal before drinks. \r \r I highly recommend West End Smokehouse & Tavern to anyone looking for a reasonably priced meal and drinks. more

I've been here a few times and its a good place to go.\r The bar is good the bartenders and barbacks are well skilled.\r The food is adequite and the service is great.\r Good place to go adn relax or go watch the game and play billards. Pros: Its well known and a great place to meet new people. Cons: thers shared parking and not enough lighting. more

Love the place. The food is good, the staff is good, great atmosphere, very casual but nice, great seating, great parking, great drinks...the only negative I have is that there is SO much smoke in that place that I can't breathe. I rarely go anymore because the smoke is so overbearing. I know it is a bar and smoke happens but after I washed my clothes and hair twice to get the smell out, I decided to go to more air friendly places.\r So if you are a heavy smoker...go for it! Great menu, knowledgeable, friendly and attractive staff, pricing is reasonable, and the drinks are excellent. Food is hot, and served quickly. Accommodating for special requests and groups. The pool tables are the best I've seen in Little Rock, well worth a visit, especially on random ""slower"" nights. My husband and I go to the West End as much as we can. We always enjoy ourselves. The steaks and hamburgers are so good and juicy. We always get Crown and Cokes and they are always perfect. The atmosphere is relxed. You can sit at couches or at a table. The staff for the most part is really nice. Just like any place you will run into bad service people from time to time but mostly the waitresses are very nice and you don't have to wait long for your food or drinks. I would eat there 2-3 times weekly if my pockets allowed it. For 2 we usually spend about $50. not bad.. GREAT PLACE TRY IT.......... Pros: Inexpensive, Good Parking, Good Music more

If you want to go to a bar in West LR, this is the place to go. They have a little of everything, high quality pool tables, restaurant seating, over 50 TVs including an 8 foot projection, and comfortable couch seating. The food is quite good, especially considering they serve until 2am, 7 days a week. The waitresses are quite friendly and attractive. There are never lines to get in and there usually isn't a problem getting a seat. Even with their excellent ventilation system, the entire bar can get pretty smoky as the night goes on. There is no cover, except when there is a live band. Speaking of which, don't go when they have live bands. It's loud, crowded, and they usually aren't very good. The exception is the Dave Matthews cover band, which is Ok for a cover band. Pros: Atmosphere, Good wait staff, Open until 2am 7d Cons: Occasional live bands, Expensive pool, Not much else more

The West End has over 50 TV's, a fun atmosphere, and great food. It is a bar and resturaunt in one. Pros: cute staff, lots to do more
