West End Grill

My girlfriend and i were celebrating an anniversary and needed someplace quiet and romantic in Ann Arbor. West End Grill was reccomended to us, so we though we'd try it out. It was PERFECT! The ambience was exactly what we were looking for; romantic, quiet, personable. I had called in for a reservation, and when we arrived they knew who we were and had a table set with custom place settings ready for us. The waitstaff was the most knowledgable I've ever come across. As for the food, I had the foie gras and it was AMAZING. I almost wanted to order another serving to take home. Also, my girlfriend had the scallops and they were some of the largest I've ever seen. A must for anybody looking for a romantic and intimate dining experience. Pros: AMBIENCE, Service, Food Cons: A bit pricey, but worth it more

The best place to celebrate an occasion in AA. I've been to all the restaurants that are considered special in AA and have had the best time at the WEG. The beignets are to die for. The only trick is not filling up on them so that you have room for dinner. The quality and creativity of the food is very high. Make sure you reserve well in advance.
