everyone is very helpful and nice, not to mention that they pay their employees a living wage-so go out and support the living wage and get some delicious freshly baked goods!

They have wonderful baked goods and an efficent staff which I appreciate greatly. The cafe is a decent size so that while remaining constantly busy there is still always a cozy spot for you. I enjoy the specials they offer very much and would definitely take visitors to Asheville to West End as a great start to a day of exploring the area. more

Fresh baked goods! 6/8/2008

Great baked goods in a homey atmosphere! I went in to meet a freind for coffee we stayed through lunch! The chicken salad was the best I ever had and the homemade soup was like Nana's. more

  • When Cathy and Krista hatched the idea for their business back in 1999, they were inspired by the growing vibrant neighborhoods of West Asheville and the need for community-oriented walkable businesses. They both share a passion for healthy eating and a commitment to providing a welcoming atmosphere where families and neighbors can relax. Everything served at the West End is made from scratch, and whenever possible we use locally grown produce and organic products. Come for breakfast and stay for lunch!.
