West Coast Hot Wings

This is by far the best wings i have had in LA. I had been craving wings since i left college in Rochester, NY where i would get wings about once a week for my entire college life. They had some great wings but we would also go to Buffalo several times to eat the wings over there. Anyways West Coast Wings is not like the others in this area here you have to search for the meat on the wings. They are big and juicy. The hot is good but could use some more sauce but my favorite are the Jamaican and the Habanero Ranch. I have yet to try the potato salad since every time i go its sold out. So i guess it must be good. The garlic fries are average and the mac salad could use some more flavor. But the main draw for this place is the wings and they do a great job at that. Went there today for lunch and it took 25 minutes to get my food. The food was awesome and the portion was fantastic (how do they stay in business giving you so much?) but it just took forever to get your lunch. The food is amazing! The huge shrimp wrapped in bacon drizzled with a sweet bbq sauce was mouthwatering to start, followed by HUGE hot wings, perfectly crispy, smothered in mild sauce. (I got mild for the kids, but there were many other choices for sauces.) The Blue Cheese and Ranch dressing for dipping were exceptionally tasty and thick as well. The garlic french fries were bursting with flavor. The macaroni salad was not like any macaroni salad I have had before,it had egg and black olives, with just enough flavor to balance out the spicy wings. I fed the whole family of six (four adults and two children) for the same price of ordering pizza, with leftovers! If you live in the area, I highly reccommend them for takeout as well! Yummy! This cafe like spot has got to be the best place to get your wings. The wings are not our typical pigeon like wings that you get from everywhere else. I ordered the original wings which were very yummy! My boyfriend had the x-hot wings which were great for his firey taste. Large side portions...potato salad tastes so good, made homemade! Very friendly service and willing to explain what was mild to burn up your taste buds hot! Limited seating (indoor & outdoor), but great to order ahead and take it to go. Finally a real place for wings. Great selection of wings and sides. Be careful, go any spicier than HOT - watch out. Service was great and restaurant is very clean. Price seems to fit, not cheap but not bad. Plasma screen showing sports. Easy parking. Great spot. Pros: Taste more

These wings are totally different from all the other places that serve wings. The wings are fresh and there are a variey of sauces you can choose from. If you are in the valley and need a good place to eat wings and just relax, you should go to West Coast Hot Wings first. more

These wings are the best wings outside of Buffalo! The food is fresh and made to order. The staff is friendly and the service is great. Really great atmosphere and family friendly. Everyone leaves with a smile on their face. If you haven't tried these wings, you don't know what you are missing! Pros: Everything about the place is good. more
