Wellstar Pediatrics at Brookstone

I am a work at home dad, so when I schedule an appointment, I need to get in and out. They are very understanding of that and the longest I have ever waited past my appt. time is approx 10 minutes. The nurses are great as soon as you walk in and the feel-good experience continues from there. My 2 boys actually don't mind going in and that is saying a lot. They listen hard and work hard for me and my family. Exactly how you want to be treated when you are paying someone for a service. more

My daughter began seeing Dr. Kim when she was 10 months old. I was fed up with long waits and not being able to get an appointment with the pediatrician she previously used and Dr. Kim came highly recommended. When my son was born over a year later he also became a patient of Dr. Kim. I have never had a problem getting a same day sick appointment with this practice (although sometimes my kids see the nurse practitioner but she is great, too!). Dr. Kim is very thorough in answering my questions and never makes me feel like my questions are stupid (even though sometimes they might be). My son has a problem with his kidneys and needed diagnostic testing at 8 weeks old. I was told the results would be available the day after the test. Dr. Kim called me at 8 pm that night to give me the results himself. I think he knew I wouldn't be able to sleep without those results. I have never had another physician personally call me at home much less so late after office hours. more
