This is my situation; I applied last year for a home loan to get pre-qualified for a mortgage to buy a house. So after a few months (3 months to be exact) of paper work BS by the middle of December 2010, I was told that I qualify for 175K with my 2009 tax returns. But if you show us your 2010 tax returns most likely you can qualify for 325K. So I dropped off the 2010 tax returns in the beginning of March 2011. I tried contacting them last month and left voice mail, email and then I stopped by the office to speak to Rob Levy ( Head of Mortgage Loans) who was handling my application but he was not there in the office and he never returned my phone calls, emails as well. My bookkeeper has been kind of my personal assistant with this project and she just got a call from someone a woman who says that she was working on the loan application and she told her ( That they applications has been shredded with all of the tax paperwork for my protection 2 months ago!) Why you ask/ They had no answer at all!
So if they shredded my application and paperwork why did it take 2 months to tell me? Why did I bring my 2010 tax returns in the first place if you had already shredded everything? Why are they calling her and not me? This process has taken months and I am not any closer to finding out if I can buy a house! Is there any potential in suing them over this BS?
I am at my wits end with so many F*****G INCOMPETENT
ASSWHOLES are not able to do any of the work in the first place!
This the second time they screwed up, a girl named Alison in the commercial division took all my info to qualify for a commercial loan and I never heard from her at all about the application. I called her, emailed her and stopped by but she was never there as well. I should have realized that this is THE WORST BANK IN ALL OF SOUTHERN CALIFORINA.
If you need a good bank then do not come to this place to bank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
