I became a victim of identity theft because of this bank. This bank allowed someone to open credit lines in my name without ever verifying that it was me. When I found out about the credit lines. Wachovia still tried to hold me responsible. If you dont want your identity stolen please please dont bank here. Go somewhere else, Cons: not reasonable more

No protection from fraud 6/26/2005

I stopped banking here last year because of an incident that I could not forgive. Somehow I lost my debit card and did not realize it. While a thief made cross-country purchases using my money this bank never thought to notify me of suspicious activity. When I realized through statements that over $1500 was missing from my account I had the time of my life trying to get this bank to shut the card off. It took them a full 24 hrs to cancel the card out and allow the crook to steal even more of my hard earned cash. It also took over 3 months for Wachovia to put the lost money back into my account. I was treated like I was the crook and because of that I will never bank here again and would not send me worst enemy to Wachovia. more

Comfortable and Convenient 5/20/2002

I've found the staff here to be never less than friendly, helpful and efficient, and willing to work with me when I've needed them to. I've never had to endure an unreasonable wait time in line, and the lobby is a pleasant and comfortable environment. A very enjoyable experience. more
