Wellness Pharmacy

A small older pharmacy which not only helps service you for medical needs but carries lots of interesting Christmas novelties as Christmas time. I guess novelties is not the right word....collectible is the right word. They have some trains and dolls and things like that. I have not had to use the pharmacy part due to the location but a fun place to go and shop. more

The Wellness Pharmacy isn't the type of pharmacy you use on a daily basis. They aren't a "drug store" and they don't carry all of life's daily essentials. What they specialize in is something that most people don't even know exists until they're given a prescription that needs to be taken to a compounding pharmacy...at least that was my experience. At the Wellness Pharmacy, they mix (or compound) your medication on the spot. I took a prescription in early one evening and they filled it on the spot very quickly. They also carry a lot of herbal or "alternative" remedies and the pharmacist is available to talk with you about your needs and willing to make recommendations. They are very helpful and friendly. more

I come here every month to get my compounded medications. For one thing, they are one of a few in the area that does compounding, but even if they weren't I'd come here because they are the best. When my Dr. prescribed compounded hormones for me, I took the prescription to the pharmacy. The pharmacy Dr. then met with me to discuss my treatment approach. It was very tailored to my own needs & he took a lot of time with me to answer questions & such. Then my medicines were compounded according to my needs & I was on my way. Since that first visit, I've had nothing but good experiences here. They always have my Rx ready & they also have an insurance form filled out and in the bag for me, so I can get reimbursed quickly. This pharmacy also has a lot of natural health care products like vitamin supplements of the best kind. They also have a lot of information on different health ailments and what vitamins or herbs are good for them. Aside from that, they also provide compounded medications for animals, so you can bring a prescription from your vet & they will fill it for you. They also have a drive through for your convenience. Any way you look at it, this is the best pharmacy around. more
