Sketchy, untrustworthy service; great sales team. 10/8/2011

When the power steering pump in my 2008 Mazda3 5-door died beyond the factory warranty of 30,000 miles, the extended warranty service refused to cover the repair citing that they're not liable for corrosion. This problem was, at the time, covered in a technical service bulletin; it's since been escalated to a recall. Wellesley Mazda (specifically Erik O.,their rude service director) tried to charge me $800 for the repair even though we both knew that this was a problem from the factory and well out of spec for the part. They offered to call Mazda and ask for them to extend coverage but told me it might take a week.\r \r I called Mazda myself that same day and had verbal authorization to have this repair performed anywhere I'd like in less than an hour. I brought the car to another dealership, who told me that their regional vendor representative from Mazda had authorized them to repair this problem across any cars demonstrating it, regardless of warranty coverage and that they didn't und more

Stay Away from Wellesley Mazda! 5/18/2010

I had read a lot of reviews about the Wellesley Mazda and thought they were going to be great. Originally I was looking for a good used car or a new car, either one I was only going to keep for a few years or for a long time. I had my eye set on a Mazda3. At the other Mazda dealerships I was looking at the 2006 or 2007 Mazda3's with about 30-40k miles for around $10-12k. So I went in to Wellesley Mazda with high hopes and positive expectations based on the reviews. \r \r I ended up buying a used 2005 Mazda3 with close to 80k miles on it for around $9k in October 09. Because I was buying it from the dealership, I figured that the car should be pretty tuned up and that there can't possibly be any major problems with it. However, after purchasing the car, I realized that they didn't have a second set of keys for me and that one of the headlights was broken. But they were going to charge me if I wanted to fix these. Then, just a little over a month later, the car kept dying on me as more

pretty nice experience 11/23/2008

wellesley mazda isn't the only dealer I visited but it's the best, I went to purchase a 2009 Mazda6 for me and my girl friend and they treated us nicely, they follow up emails and phones calls pretty quick and the 'hassle free' test drive is cool, I drove the car with my girl friend to 128 and they are cool about it! finally about price I think they are basically comparable to other dealers, and it's really tiring to drive from one dealer to the next, I choose them because they have a so called owner loyalty program and it looks like a great deal, I'll follow up when I have my first service. Overall great experience! Pros: friendly and helpful sales stuff, they treat me well!!! Cons: the dealership is not big, too many cars... more

Awesome 10/2/2008

My husband and I have been on a mission to different Mazda dealerships trying to get a great price and of course great customer service. When we arrived at the Wellesley Mazda dealership. We were so blown away by their professionalism and their ability to make us feel so welcomed. Instantly I knew if we were to get a Mazda, This is the place. The car is actually for my husband. He was able to testdrive a few and we made our decision. After the sales manager, Greg Flowers told us about their owner loyalty program I realized that I had purchased my Maxima from their sister store. Great place. Both Dealerships are Awesome!! more

Freaking love my salesperson 7/11/2008

I have purchased so many cars in the past. By far this has been the best experience. I cannot tell you how professional and non pressuring they are. My husband and I were delighted to have worked with Darren and Kevin. They made us feel comfortable through the entire process. I highly, highly recommend this dealership. more
