Has a communication problem 2/16/2010

I started going to SCob at 6 weeks pregnant, because we were unsure of how far along I was they did an ultrasound. The tech late me bring my 7yo son in the room, never once warning me that this was not going to be a normal ultrasound but an ""internal"" one. After the ultrasound I waited the 5-7 business days to get my results, on day 8 I called back to find out what they were. On day 9 the nurse finally called me back, told me I had a cyst on my right ovary and they wanted to do another ultrasound with my next visit, didn't explain to me if this was something to worry about or if there was certain things i should do or not do, just left it at that and hung up. Well, suffice to say, I was less then happy already when I went back for my next appointment and followup ultrasound. Except when I got there no one had scheduled me and ultrasound at all. Finally got my follow up done and again waited the length of time they gave me and had to call them Again to find out if my cyst had started to go down on its own or if it was getting bigger, which btw would have meant I needed surgery. Kind of an important thing to know if you ask me. All in all they have not impressed me in the least. They just do their ""job"" don't explain whats happening or why. How things will effect you, what you need to do, nada. Google works better to find out info then they do. My other main issue with them is that so far I've been to them three times, and three times I've seen a different Dr. how is that supposed to be helpful during pregnancy when they throw you around like a pingpong ball so that they all have Minor experience with you but none of them are fully experienced? You call to ask the Dr something and chances are you will have to remember which Dr did which appointment that you are asking about. Having to keep a journal of Dr's you've seen in case you have a question is slightly ridiculous. Pros: Close to the Hospital Cons: To much bouncing around, not enough info given more

Busy Practice 7/9/2009

I should have shopped around after calling for 1st appt and being told it was a 6 week waiting period, even though I had a problem. Had incomplete referrals, paperwork not filled in properly, then my chart was not complete for staff to give referrals. When calling for specific Dr. or their staff was always referred to voicemail, not an actual person. Pros: Close to Hospital Cons: Practice too Busy, Dr. & staff not thorough more

My Experience with Dr. Kidd and South Cobb 10/27/2008

I have seen Dr.Kidd for a little over 2 years for both GYN and pregnancy care. It was the Best experience I have ever had with a doctor. I had problems with my pregnancy and Dr. Kidd to it upon herself to call me after hours to check on me. Dr. Kidd is the most compassionate and professional doctor i""ve come in contact with. The office staff at South Cobb is also polite and curteous. They were prompt and kept me informed. I would definately recommend Dr. Kidd and South Cobb to anyone. Pros: Professionalism, courtesey Cons: paying to park more

Horrible Experience Negated The Good Ones 5/4/2008

I had a great experience seeing Dr. Mullinix and seeing a midwife and was really excited about switching to this practice, until my most recent visit. I went for dysmenorrhea (too much bl--d*) and was told to wait sitting on a towel to bl--d* on myself (thankfully I didn't undress as instructed). *sorry, the filter does not accept the real word* Pros: front desk staff were polite, even though they couldn't find my appt at first Cons: Dr. Kidd, wait time, no thorough history taken relating to the meds prescribed more
