I started going to SCob at 6 weeks pregnant, because we were unsure of how far along I was they did an ultrasound. The tech late me bring my 7yo son in the room, never once warning me that this was not going to be a normal ultrasound but an ""internal"" one. After the ultrasound I waited the 5-7 business days to get my results, on day 8 I called back to find out what they were. On day 9 the nurse finally called me back, told me I had a cyst on my right ovary and they wanted to do another ultrasound with my next visit, didn't explain to me if this was something to worry about or if there was certain things i should do or not do, just left it at that and hung up.
Well, suffice to say, I was less then happy already when I went back for my next appointment and followup ultrasound. Except when I got there no one had scheduled me and ultrasound at all. Finally got my follow up done and again waited the length of time they gave me and had to call them Again to find out if my cyst had started to go down on its own or if it was getting bigger, which btw would have meant I needed surgery. Kind of an important thing to know if you ask me.
All in all they have not impressed me in the least. They just do their ""job"" don't explain whats happening or why. How things will effect you, what you need to do, nada. Google works better to find out info then they do.
My other main issue with them is that so far I've been to them three times, and three times I've seen a different Dr. how is that supposed to be helpful during pregnancy when they throw you around like a pingpong ball so that they all have Minor experience with you but none of them are fully experienced? You call to ask the Dr something and chances are you will have to remember which Dr did which appointment that you are asking about. Having to keep a journal of Dr's you've seen in case you have a question is slightly ridiculous.
Pros: Close to the Hospital
Cons: To much bouncing around, not enough info given
