I went in for a pain in my chest that I explained to the doctor felt like a pain on the bone. He ran an EKG on his old 1940's EKG machine with sticky pads that were falling off of me. Immediately after the test, he didn't want to listen to anythin I had to say and said that he was admitting me to St. Joseph's Mercy overnight for testing. I didn't feel like the pain was in my heart, and was still convinced it was in my cartilage somewhere. I made the long trip to see my family doctor and my suspicions were correct. I had some inflamed cartilage on a rib. My family doctor's EKG and Ultrasound of the heart came back 100% normal. These people don't care what you have to say and will take a chance to rip you off while playing on your emotions.
