Great location! 12/29/2005

I love to go to Well Fed Head when I've been downtown to go out to eat, but I'm not quite ready to go home! It is a small, intimate used book store. The selection of books is not huge, but they do have some edgier titles that other stores don't carry. They have a unique clientèle, and have open mic nights occasionally. This store reminds me of a favorite bookstore that you would find on a side street in a bigger city, but we have it right here in Springfield! more

Top-Notch Used Bookstore 9/14/2005

Well Fed Head is not only a bookstore, it's a downtown establishment and hangout. Well Fed Head is extremely clean and organized and it's obvious that the books they sell are very well taken care of. Prices are good, coffee is available, and there is a very eclectic selection, including several boxes of 70s-era records on a recent visit. Staff is knowledgeable about what's on their shelves and can find everything easily, or can order if they don't have it available. It's a fun place to browse. more
