Greg and Mike Know their stuff about beds. \r \r My father in law purchased two twin beds to put together to make a king. Him and his wifer like different firmnesses. They purchased two beds from sleepys and when they were delivered I saw them. I told them not to open the packages until they heard from me. I went down to Weiss sleep shop and both Greg and Mike were there. Greg showed me a great bed that was much more comfortable and sturdy than the one from Sleepy's. The great thing about this story is that when I drove the mattresses home and put them side by side with sleepy's at the same price, the one from Weiss's store was thicker and much more comfortable. I strongly recommend you deal with bedding professionals that know their beds!\r Jim more

My girlfriend and I went over the bridge to visit the sleep shop in search of a pillowtop mattress. Well both Mike and Greg were there and so were a few other customers. They took the time to show us a few mattresses in the comfort that we both liked, answered all our questions and helped us understand how these matresses were built. Greg and Mike made it entertaining the way they were handeling multiple customers and still giving us a personal time with our needs. We ended up choosing a King Koil king size pillow top with memory foam and latex built into it. They delivered it in a few day and assembled the frame and hauled away the old bed in a flash. We have been very pleased with service and products so far. We are planing to redo our Living room set and are looking forward to working out a great deal with them soon. I'd say give them a try when your shopping for funiture because they know their product are just regular people who want to make furniture shopping fun. more

I bought 3 mattresses, couch, loveseat and chair there last year. A few months after buying them our couch had a problem with the frame. I called and I was told that the person who deals with it wasn't there 6 seperate times. I finally got a hold of Greg and he came to my house to look at the problem (after him pulling 3 no shows). He told me he would order the parts and never did. Here it is over a year later and still nothing has been done. Now is is broken in another place. I am not even going to deal with those losers and call a professional to come fix it. DO NOT SHOP HERE. ONCE IT'S OUT OF THEIR STORE THEY COULD CARE LESS WHAT YOUR PROBLEMS ARE!!!!! more

Wow! I don't even know how to describe the treatment I received when I had a problem with my mattress. Unproffessional doesn't begin to describe it.......rude, mean- spirited, infantile responses to the legitimate problems with my mattress. I hope the person who liked Greg Weiss service never has a problem with their merchandise while under warranty. The other employee is more normal acting and seems to genuinely want to fix the problem. Friends, family and I purchased from this business for many years to avoid the big furniture and mattress chain stores. Never expected to so undeservedly be treated with such cold disrespect. Yes, I agree with the review that said, ""run, don't walk,"" from this business or pray you receive what you paid for. Have been hearing their gimmicks on the radio to get you in the door. Trouble is, once you walk in the door, nothing is priced. Greg Weiss has some ridiculous sales pitch reason as to why this is good for the consumer. Can do the fast talking bait and switch tactics much easier without clearly labeled signs with brands, styles and prices. Much harder for the consumer to make a thoughtful decision. While you are making that decision, Weiss has his big mouth flapping with what sounds like deals to sweeten the pot. He even threatens that ""if you don't buy today, I can't make the offer later"". Their radio ad makes reference to their competitor, Sleepys. You don't have to go to Sleepys. Since kissing off Weiss sleep shop once and for all, we have been asking others where they have done mattress business. They have had good experiences at Gorin's furniture in Norwich, Raymour and Flannigan and even were satisfied customers of Bobs Discount Furniture. Take the other bloggers advice. I purchased a Mercury Eurotop Mattress Queen bed with split box springs. I have a very bad back and thought that this bed was going to be so comfortable with the extra loft in the pillow top. The first 3 months were absolute bliss. But then, it suddenly felt like you are sinking every time you got into bed. I began to have the worse back and hip pain. The owner Greg came to our house to look at the mattress and said that it looked like it was in perfect condition. There was nothing we could do. We were stuck with this bed. It looks perfect but it is the least comfortable bed I've ever slept on. I wake up feeling horrible I have chronic headaches and back pain from this bed. I wouldn't recommend this bed for anyone!! I purchased a queen size set of bedding from Greg Weiss (who actually owns the store) and not only was he very knowledgeable about his product but also educated us on what felt like the entire bedding industry. He showed us beds that were less than half the price we saw elsehwere and we spent halve of what we thought we were going to spend and got a better quality mattress. They delivered the next day within a preset 2 hour window. If you want great quality and low prices this is the place. Pros: Very Knowledgeable, Lowest Prices, Brand Names more

Run, don't walk away from them! Simply the worst. I PURCHASED a headboard for my daughter and never used put together or even took the tags off, I had it for 7 days exactly, called to ask about returning it. and the sales rep owner i'm thinking cause he said his name was greg weiss, very unprofessional, and rude. do yourself a favor and bypass this company, product is of cheap quality and they will not take returns at all. what a shame.Accreditation: This company is not a Accredited business.
