We recently bought a high end dishwasher from this company. It was delivered and installed by a company that they contract out to. After installation, the tech ran the dishwasher to test it and it made a horrible knocking sound. I called Weir's and explained the problem. They informed me that they wouldn't replace the dishwasher until a repair tech came out and looked at. When the repair man got here, he discovered that the pump was defective. I called Weirs again and informed them of this and told them that I felt that they should replace the dishwasher as I didn't want a brand new dishwasher that had to be repaired before it had even been used once. After a few calls (all made by me) I finally got them to agree to replace the dishwasher. They scheduled delivery for Friday. Needless to say it was not delivered as promised. I called them to inform them that the company they contracted out to had not been notified about the delivery and that I was displeased with the way this was handled. I mentioned that we recently had bought a new house and were planning on buying all new appliances, but due to the problems and the lack of organization that they showed, that I would not be using their company. The manger I was speaking to told me ""I don't blame you"" No ""I'm sorry and what can I do to make this better"" or anything that showed that they wanted to make it right and keep me as a customer. The following week I got my 2nd dishwasher delivered and 3 1/2 weeks after we purchased it, I got to do a load of dishes. If you're looking for a company that doesn't care about making their customers happy and won't return your phone calls, then this is the company for you!
