We are a corporate RELO from Pennsylvania. We made the mistake of entering into a dual agent contract w/ Michael Ladd Cavey, an agent at Weichert Caton. He diligently spent 1.5 days showing us houses. We then struck out on our own (due to frustration w/ selections) and found a building lot and builder to build us a house, w/o any assistance from Mr. Cavey. Cavey was present at the signing of the contract, then disappeared. Emails and phone calls from us and the seller/builder were ignored. We were forced to find a temp. rental house on our own. ZERO support and responses were received. We asked for a copy of our agreement to no avail. I made a phone call to William Iampieri, the broker and was noisily told he did not care, did not want to hear from a pesty buyer, did not want to be bothered about 1 lousy house purchase, etc. We will be filing a complaint with the MD RE Commission. Nasty, obnoxious, and non-responsive. Incredible lack of response in this lousy RE market.
