Webster Radiator & AC

Great service, very friendly and took me right in! They even offered to give me a ride home or to get something to eat. Recommend to anyone looking to have thier car repaired! more

I had been without A/C for 2 summers and almost went without service a 3rd summer BECAUSE another place I had taken the car to the 1st summer it went out told me it would cost $403 to fix (AAA Car Care Center) and I simply didn't have money like that to spend on a 1994 Toyota Corolla. I took this car to Websters and the total bill with tax was only $124.55!! Had I taken the car there years ago, I wouldn't have suffered the heat for over 2 years. They even took me home and picked me up when it was ready! Customer service there is over-the-top! Here's some extra information: Webster's has hired 2 mechanics and now offer all mechanical services (except transmission service). Bottom line: This is a company that I highly recommend and will use again in the future. more

Buyer Beware!!! This business is incompetent. A compressor was replaced twice on my Mercedes Benz. I later discovered it would have been less expensive for the dealership to have done the same work and it would have been fixed correctly! The compressor repair gave me ac for 1 year. The next summer, the same repair was made under the warranty (I had to pay for the labor)! The manager extended the warranty for another year but did not honor when the AC went out a THIRD TIME. I would not recommend this business. more

We took our 1999 Chevy Tahoe to Webster Radiator in Concord because our radiator was leaking. They replaced our radiator, serpentine belt, thermostat, new hoses, clips, and more, and flushed it. We got great service, in a reasonable amount of time, and at a reasonable price. We are very happy with the service we got and we will recommend them to anyone we know. When we need something else we will return. Thank you to the people who did the work for doing such a good job. more

These guys did a couple of things to really put me at ease before repairing my Jaguar. They took the time to explain in detail what they needed to do to repair it and they made sure I had a ride home. They also worked with me and were more than reasonable about letting me make payments to them instead of paying everything up front. My car runs great now and thanks to the extra care and service the guys gave me, particularly Jacob, I will not be going anywhere else for repairs unless it's a necessity. I've taken my cars to a number of places over the years but I know now that I've found the shop I can trust and know I'll be getting great work out of in the future. I'd recommend these guys to family members, friends, anyone. more

I am in the radiator biz myself and I have been buyinfr websters for bout 10 years. Jake Kelly always very helpful to me . Im a small shop so I have not deal with all the situations they have. They always seem to know what I need and have it thats why when I called today and they asked me if I would write them a review I was Pleased to do it. I want u ALL to know. I had an awesome experience with these guys. They took me right in, were friendsly, and very helpful. They got my car done the same day and even got me a ride home so I didnt have to wait around for it. I checked prices around town and they were the best! Less then half of what the dealer wanted!!! more

Webster: ""This thing is completely rusted out, we need to re-core."" Me: How much is that? Webster: ""$175"" I had an old tractor radiator that was leaking. I took it to Webster and got a call shortly after I dropped it off that the entire radiator was rusted out and completely useless. I told them I wanted to come look at it before I paid them to fix it. They charged me $20 to clean it, which they did a good job cleaning it. But I picked it up and called around to find another place to fix it. I called 5 radiator shops to find out how much it was to re-core a radiator. They said it was $300-500. I told them about Webster's deal and they advised that I be careful. It is apparently not even possible to get the materials(copper) for less than $200-300 for the shops. A couple of the shops had experience repairing Webster's work for people. I found Hovis Radiator in Charlotte. I dropped the radiator off as they were closing on a Monday night, by 10am Tuesday they called back and said they could fix it for $75. They were finished by 2pm Tuesday. I picked it up and put it back on the tractor. It has been performing ever since. In my experience and opinion...find someone other than Webster. more

The previous review said these guys will bend over backwards? Sorry but I say they will bend YOU over backwards. We took our vehicle in there to be serviced for a leak in the radiator. My husband tested it out and knew it to be a radiator leak but because he is busy working, took his vehicle to Webster based on a recommendation from a friend. They said it was a water pump leak and since they were already in the vehicle they would also change the timing belt. Okay fine, even though husband questioned them because he was sure it was a radiator leak. 4 DAYS LATER, they finally fixed the vehicle. They said the repairmen kept putting off the vehicle so they could do the quicker jobs first. WHAT??? Okay, so they said they would give us a rental credit for $35. Total insult, but hey we will take it. We just wanted the vehicle repaired and in working condition. Husband took it home and the next day, vehicle is leaking AGAIN! He didn't have time to drive it back to Webster and frankly after waiting four days for a job that wouldn't have taken a day at best, I don't blame him. Well wouldn't you know it within 7 days, the car was completely overheated and not safe to drive. Can you guess the reason why? Yep, the radiator has a big hole in it as confirmed by a AAA repair place (we didn't take it back to Webster for obvious reasons). So we disputed the charges on our credit card and the manager stated that it was unfortunate that the radiator started to leak but it is out of their control and they are in no way responsible. It's not their fault our radiator blew out. I totally agree with them, it's not their fault, we had a hole in the radiator from the beginning...they choose to repair something totally unrelated and as a result we had two huge bills for a vehicle in the less than 2 weeks. So be very cautious if you do decide to go to Webster Radiator. We are looking into small claims court as of this writing. Pros: close by, in other words none Cons: too many to mention, number one being liars more

My husband took his vehicle up there. They put freon in and said it was good to go. The next day it stopped working so he took it back. They said the compresser was broke and leaking. They said it would be an additional $500 to repair. They did not metion the problem yesterday when they ran dye into the lines to look for leaks. My husband was frustrated, they returned his frustration back at him by using profanity and threats which later esculated into violence. We ended up calling the law to file a report against them.
