When we discovered an extremely ill, emaciated feral kitten with an open wound infested with maggots in our yard, we rushed it to Weaver --having never been there before. The caring, professional staff quickly performed a triage and diagnosis on the kitten and began his rigorous treatment. Infested with a warble, maggots, fleas, roundworms and whipworms, suffering from dehydration and a respiratory infection, he was, according to Dr. Knepper a few days later, as close as he could come to dying. We have never witnessed a group of people more dedicated to the health of a pet. \r
