RUDE, RUDE. 12/5/2011

Not even a Star.. Ms Jordan who answeared the phone was So RUDE and told me they would not give me a quote for a rental property that I have. " They dont do Rental properties " because I wanted to do them two or a few at a time.. Have Twenty windows and Two doors. Just wanted an estimate she refused.. Even refused to give me her supervisor.. BAD BUSINESS....She should not be talking to or with customers. I will be contacting New 3 and 10 about the way I was treated and hope they put it on the News.. more

Sleazy sales tactics 8/18/2011

I went in to the showroom and was shown very nice doors. The product looked very nice. They would not give me a quote there but wanted to come out to my house the next day. OK The salesman arrived on time and gave a similar talk that I had at the showroom. I asked for the quote and he wrote down and circled $6700 for the one patio door. This was more than 3 times what I expected and asked if he could give me a written quote. He would not. I told him that I was not interested and he left. The next day, another "supervisor" called and asked if the $5100 quote was OK. There is no honesty in that place. I wouldn't trust them to install what they showed me. more

Terrible 6/1/2011

Don't go with these people. From the start (of course after signing the contract) we had many problems. The sales people are rude, don't return phone calls, they started late, we received the wrong cabinet, they ran out of floor tiles, they botched the plumming, installed the wrong shower head, and on and on. They have had many civil lawsuits against them. Check it out. more

bathtub remodel 4/20/2011

Workers are not regular employees, 1099 type. Without the hourly wage, the workers are limited, = increased time on job. One person is sent out where two would increase speed. This = more time away from your employment so they can pay only one worker. Work has, so far been good. They make it sound like the worker wants to hurry...but can only proceed as a one man team can. This company takes advantage of workforce pitting them against customer. You must get in contract reduced time frame and volume of workers, otherwise you get one.Who may be forced to cut corners due to time contstraints and just plain needs help. If there is a next time I will squeeze it out of them...Armstrong and got prority treatment, you won't get. more

A Diamond in the Rough 2/2/2011

What a class act! After shopping around and finding a bunch of low price CRAP I finally found a company that understands what a wise consumer wants. They were on time, listened to my wants and offered REAL solutions to my bathroom woes. This was followed up by installers who actually knew what they were doing and did it well. Thank You Weatherite!! more

Stress Free Experience 11/19/2010

We had been doing a lot of projects around the house and still had the original windows from the '70s. We heard there was a tax credit and felt like it was about time to update the windows, but didn't decide to do it until I broke one with the weed eater one Sunday. We didn't want to worry about getting ripped off (that's happened to us before) so I did my research and found a couple companies with good reputations to take bids from. The product and price we liked best was from Weatherite, so we decided to go with them. We liked the guarantees and the fact that they've been in business for a long time in good standing. The install team was courteous and never left a mess. I had a little trouble understanding the crew chief, there was a bit of a language barrier there, but he did a great job. Overall it was a stress free experience. We're still going through litigation with some jerk we dealt with 4 years ago, but with Weatherite the work is already done and we're perfectly satisfied. Since we had to do the work some time, we were glad to get it done by a quality company and not have to worry about it. more

very cocky company 10/26/2010

They don't deserve even 1 star. Can't believe what just happened. I had an appt for a consult. Nice man showed up. Co pany policy ...can't give a Consult unless the other spouse is present. Reason....they don't want to be bothered with too many questions after the presentation which could last 1 1/2 to 3 hours depending on how many questions are asked. I'm the one that takes care of home stuff. My husband is the main income and said he didn't need to be a part of the consult. I'd relay the info to him.Told the company the circumstances and refused to give me the consult. Guess they don't want my money. They have enough business. I was told They're booked up through December and read between the lines ...can decide who they want to work with. I don't want to work with a company that thinks along these lines...don't think they would work to please. I think their strategy is how many people they could sign up right then and there. Bad salesmanship. more

First, to be fair, the guys actually doing the work are doing a fine job although it's only been one day on the job. However, that is overshadowed by the flatout misleading, tell you what you want to hear, unscrupulous sales tactics they employ. A word to the wise, review your contract thoroughly before you sign. We are in the process of getting a bathtub remodel. The deal we agreed on for one of the bathrooms was for an oversized tub (and the price was reflected). What did we get? A tub SMALLER than the one removed. Yes, while agreeing to my requests, they were writing something else on the contract. Buyer Beware!~!! Check the measurements!! - They told me they could get the larger tub for 3 times the cost. Which I'm already paying?? Good chance this will also go to the BBB and Contracting Board as well. WIll keep you updated on progress. more
