So it came time and we had the money to invest in remodeling, and though I usually shop around I took the word of two trust worthy folks in my area that Weathertamer was a dedicated company. I meet Jeremy and he seems to be an earnest guy. Probably about two hours after the down payment I'm shopping around online and come across some older reviews which had me very worried. After handing over my cash I'm now expecting a hellish battle with the company to put out. Upon further research my fears are quelled when I realize the business has been under new management, and I almost laugh when I receive personal calls asking me how my windows and leafsluggers are holding up. The windows took a little longer than expected but the product was superior and the price was great. This was an extremely satisfactory company to work with, had to say something considering the reviews haven't been updated in a while. more

BUYER BEWARE! I purchased new windows for my home and was promised a quick, seamless installation. I paid the deposit as requested with good faith this company would keep their end of the contract. BOY WAS I WRONG! After waiting 5 weeks beyond the promised installation date, the installation had finally begun, yet the company wanted another payment made as the work began. Originally, we agreed that after the deposit, the remainder would be paid in full upon completion. My wife was shocked when she was bullied by the owner to pay as the work began ""so his workers could get a paycheck and continue the work"". We felt the job would not be finished if we did not pay, so we held our thoughts for later. Since the completion of my installation, I have had numerous issues with my brand new, ""guaranteed & warrantied"" windows. It has been a nightmare trying to get someone out to my home to fix a number of issues, so I finally decided to pay someone else to fix the work this fly-by-night company has done. PLEASE BEWARE OF WHO YOU HIRE TO WORK ON YOUR HOME, CHECK LICENSES & CUSTOMER REVIEWS! I began reading reviews online when my calls were not being returned by Weather Tamer to fix my windows, and found numerous complaints that are very similar to my own! My only regret is that I had done this before I signed up with this company, the whole situation would have been avoided. PLEASE BE SMART AND RESEARCH FIRST BEFORE SPENDING THOUSANDS WITH A COMPANY! more

Good Windows, Good Installation BUT POOR BUSINESS MANAGEMENT...\r If you want a good product and good installation and don't mind mis-measures, atleast three trips to get it right, broken and missing windows with two-week delays between each of their mistakes, missing time from your job and being told many untruths and broken promises then use this company.\r The business is quick at one thing; asking you for money before the caulk even dries.\r Seek a company that under-promises and over-delivers and save yourself the stress. Pros: Excellent Installation Crew when they were given the right size windows to install. Cons: Mis-measures, mis-ships, broken glass, false promises, mega-delays and the audacity to ask for another payment before job was finished. more

I received personal service from everyone at Weather Tamer Windows & Siding from the owner down to the installers. My first contact was with the salesman Jeremy Webb, he is the owners son, professional and knowledgeable and what he did not know he found out for me. Then I met Steve the owner he came out to measure the windows he answered my questions. They offered me complete financing and everyone I spoke with at the office was just great and friendly. They could all tell me what was going on with my job and if they did not know the answer then they would call me back and let me know the answer usually that same day. The installers they had came in did their work and cleaned up some rooms looked better when they were finished than when they started. All I can say is that it was one of the best experiences I have ever had with home remodeling. Pros: Professional and cleaning Cons: Wait time for windows a little longer than expected more

This company damaged our home while we were out of town even when we stated on the contract that the work was to be started after we returned. They misrepresented facts and and made false statements while trying to resolve the issue. They lost their B B B membership due to their actions and failing to abide by the arbitrators decision. They forced us to take legal action against them and were found negligent, though the damages we were awarded fell way short of the cost to repair. Luckily we were able to find and violate their Bond Insurance which they tried to block us from doing. If you choose to do business with them... you do so at your own risk. Cons: Integrity not in their vocabulary. more
