Do not trust Wayside Furniture- we were sold a product- paid in full- were called and told to pick up our product at their warehouse- and then told (AT THE WAREHOUSE) after driving 45 minutes, that they couldn’t get the product they had already sold us.
Then Wayside Furniture tried the classic bait and switch- the guy at the warehouse said we could have a totally different table which he described as “ more expensive and nicer than the one you ordered.” Unfortunately for us, the alternative product was old, dusty, beat up and hardly better than the product we had ordered.
To add insult to injury- THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE.
THE STORE MANAGER ACTUALLY LAUGHED AND FOUND IT AMUSING that we were upset at being sold a product they couldn’t deliver and the salesperson was adamant that we should take the lesser product.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE- who laughs at a customer who was told to drive 45 minutes to pick up a table that they didn’t even have and then finds it amusing that the customer is upset.
