I live in Foxboro and finally came here for a drink with my husband. I read all of the terrible reviews on the internet, and I can't say that they are wrong. We arrived and left on a Saturday night before the band started playing so we did not have to deal with the loudness everyone is complaining about. You have to walk by 2 bouncers when you enter. Yes, Foxboro needed a cool bar, and this place is very big and it has very nice decor. But our 16oz beer on tap was $5.75. That is very expensive. Our bartender left before we could pay her so we asked the new guy (after trying forever to get his attention) how much it was so we could pay and leave. We left $6, and as we were leaving he shouted at us, ""Thanks alot"" Apparently he was unhappy with the tip that was for the previous bartender. Wow. I have been to many bars in my 39 years and have never had a bartender do that. We didn't give a 20% tip because the guy was basically ignoring us so we couldn't drink more even if we wanted to. This place has some serious attitude. I looked at the menu and I could not believe the prices either. $8 for a kids meal. $13 for bangers and mash. The prices were on average 20% more than other local bar/restaurants. Go to The Chieftain in Plainville, Finnegan's Wake in Walpole, Casey O?Conor?s in Mansfield or Maguire's in Easton for food and beer. If you want music, food and beer, go to British Beer Company in Walpole or The Charlie Horse in W. Bridgewater, but avoid this place like its the plague.
Pros: Local
Cons: Expensive, rude
