A truly impressive setting for when a family member needs assisted living. I was impressed with the attention to allowing for independence while still caring for the residents. There is a very discreet security system that allows residents to walk around freely, yet still notes if anyone has a problem. This center takes care of those with Alzheimer’s and other advance problems. The rooms are a nice size and have scenic views, private baths and built in wardrobe & shelving. A very nice feature for residents is the “main Street” in the inside of the building. Set up to resemble a small town main street, there is a barber shop with the old “pole”, an ice cream parlor, benches to sit, potted trees, a beauty parlor, a corner store type shop, and places to sit and eat with friends or just mingle. It looks like a quaint New England small town, the town is beneath a large skylight. There are activities each day, and there are adult day care activities including exercise and cultural programs. There are cozy living rooms with virtual fireplaces. There's also three-chef prepared meals served daily. Meals, nutritious snacks and personal laundry services are covered in the fee. Private dining rooms are available for family celebrations.
