Wave broadband is a good product with fair customer service as long as the weather is good. When the weather turns bad & you lose electricity from "the grid" (PUD) you will loose all services from Wave, your cable, internet & phone even if you have your own emergency backup systems. Wave is dependent upon electricity provided by PUD in their distribution network to power inline devices similar to an amplifier. These devices have no battery backup or any other backup system so if the electricity goes down, they go down too. When the services are "up" they are great, very fast & reliable internet (8mbps/1.5mbps), clear phone service with basic enhanced services i.e: call forwarding, caller ID, call waiting (no call blocking) & a very good selection of cable tv stations. They currently do not have "Cable on Demand" & their DVR service is not as good as Tivo or the 2 satellite tv providers, but still much better than a VCR with about 50 event capabilities including "season pass"
