My New Favorite Dentist and Dental Office! 1/29/2015

My husband has been coming to Dr Papendick for years and after an insulting episode with my dentist of 6 years I decided to make a change for me and my daughter. It was a good thing I did Dr Papendick discovered 4 fillings that needed replacing along with a crown. I was stunned since I have always kept my 6 month cleaning/checkups with the previous dentist. Dr Papendick, his Hygentist, Dawn, Assistants, Daisy, Amy and Linda (subbing for Amy who's on leave) have been great. Everyone is not only friendly but very thorough in explaining procedures, dental paperwork and the dental work performed by Dr Papendick and deep cleaning by Dawn was flawless and without ANY pain!! I regret I didn't come to Dr Papendick SOONER. We are patients for life more

Outstanding service!!!!! 8/3/2014

I had the pleasure of visiting Dr.Papendick and was very impressed with his staff and the good doctor himself!!! He is a true professional and very calming. I hadn't had a tooth pulled in some years and was slightly nervous. Dr.Papendick and his staff reassured me and was done in 10 mins with no pain!!! I'm happy to recommend Waukegan Family Dental to my friends and family!!!! I'm happy to see such a great dental office right here in Waukegan!!! Keep up the great job guys!!!!!! more

6 month smile 4/30/2014

I went to Dr Papendick for my 6 smile smile... Awesome!... Love my teeth! I had such a great experience there. I will continue going there for all my dental needs! Not only was he great so was his staff... Love ms.Daisy and Amy too! The price was good, explained everything thoroughly and made my 6 month treatment very easy! more

Dr. Michael Papendick, DDS 3/28/2013

My husband & I have been patients of Dr. Papendick's for over 20 years. Our son and daughter in law have seen him for many years as well. He is a wonderful dentist who always places the patient first. When I share my concerns he listens carefully, and never makes me uncomfortable when I ask questions, no matter how simple the answer. I always feel he is interested in me as a whole person, which is so important to me as I have multiple medical problems. My being in a wheelchair has never fazed him for a moment, & he often positions himself and the instruments so I will not have to transfer to the dental chair. He is honest and trustworthy, compassionate & caring. I give Dr. Papendick my highest recommendation for all dentistry needs! more

Best Dentist EVER! 11/15/2012

Dr. Mike alleviates all my anxieties, he's so attentive and gentle. He continues to talk to you while he's working which helps keep you relaxed and calm. His staff is awesome, they are so friendly and always willing to talk...or listen...or offer a hand if you're a baby like me, I like to reach for them sometimes just for a bit of comfort and they are always there. My children like coming to the dentist, always have, thats odd for children, but they all love Dr. Mike...I recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist because with Waukegan Family Dental Center, you not only get a dentist and dental hygienists, you truly get friends and I am honored to say that they have been my friends for 23 years! Thank you for being the best! more

Waukegan Family Dental has a great staff that is always polite and courteous. Being a dental office, there are emergencies, but they always make an effort to keep appointments as scheduled. Highly recommended. more

Thank God for the Six Month Smile Program! 3/4/2012

My sincere gratitude goes out to Dr. Pappendick and his team! I have been embarrassed for most of my life by my crooked teeth. I had two teeth in particular that jutted out when I smiled, making me the butt of cruel jokes as a teenager and into adulthood. Fang, Snagglepuss, were a few of the many names I was called. I often covered my mouth with my hand to avoid people seeing my teeth. Public speaking was extremely difficult for me. Last summer, Dr. Pappendick suggested that I participate in the Six Month Smile Program. I didn't think it was possible to straighten out my teeth in such a short period of time. I began the program in August with great apprehension and doubt that much could be done about my teeth. It's now six months later and I am elated with the results! My "fangs" are gone! I couldn't be happier with the results and with the professional, respectful care I was given by Waukegan Family Dental. Thank you very much Dr. Pappendick and staff! more

Toothache emergency 11/15/2011

Hi, my name is Heather Davidson, and I had a terrible toothache this morning.I called at the last minute, and they took me right away..Dr. Papendick and his team were very nice, gracious, and promt on helping me..I couldn't have asked for a nicer group of people, I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the kindness and time that you took out of your busy day to help me with such a MAJOR problem..now this will be our new family dentist, and I say that proudly...Sincerley, Heather Davidson more

Sleep Apnea 10/31/2011

During a regular checkup Dr. Papendick recognized that I may have Sleep Apnea and recomended I get a sleep test. Sure enough I had Apnea and it was a severe case of Apnea. I've now been on a CPAP for almost a year and it has made a significant difference. I no longer get drowsy while driving or at my desk at work, I can sit down and watch TV or read without falling asleep within minutes. I've even laid down to intentionally take a nap and ended up watching news for an hour and never did fall asleep for that nap. I didn't think there was anything wrong with me but there was. Thank You Dr. Papendick for recognizing a non dental problem that has made a difference. And I'd like to add that my wife appreciates the fact that I no longer snore something terrible. more

Great Results 8/11/2011

I recently had to have multi tooth extraction surgery and a partial constructed. I was very pleased with my surgery results, received no discomfort at all. Anyone with a fear of the dentist can rest assured, Dr. Papendick is a completely painless dentist and holds your comfort as a high priority. I've been a patient for 10 years and highly recommend this dental practice for not only high quality but for the doctor's and staff competence. more

Excellent Care and Service 4/24/2011

I've been a patient of Dr. Pappendick's since 1990. I initially started because I lived in the area. I've since moved but have continued to be a patient of Dr. Pappendick's because of the excellent care, service, and efficiency he and his hygienists' and office staff provide. . I definitely recommend Dr. Pappendick and his hygienists to anyone in the area that needs/wants great dental care! more

Friendly and helpful 4/7/2011

I found Dr. Papendick online, and have been to the office a few times. Each visit is fun, relaxed and detailed. I feel sure that Dr. Papendick has my best interests in mind. He has done fillings and a crown and I couldn't be happier. My cleaning visits are fun, and I never thought that I would LIKE coming to the dentist. Not to mention they play great music and instead of the sound of drills, I hear laughter! Thanks Dr. Papendick! more

Not very understanding! 12/28/2005

I had a root canal that did go o.k. but when I made an appointment for a check-up I had a big problem. On the day of the appointment I had to work longer hours and I was late by 30 minutes to the appointment. When I arrived the receptionist told me that I would have to pay the $20 fee for showing up late and not letting them know 24hrs prior. This made upset. Well they found a cavity and I had to make another appointment. When IO arrived ON TIME the docrot was running late and I had to wait over 30 minutes befor emy appointment. I asked for a $20 credit since the doctor was the one who was late this time. To make it worse the dentist did a rush job on me because she was running late and my filling ended up falling out. BEWARE!!! more
