Place is great. The atmosphere is great. We sat outside right on the water and ordered from their 26th anniversary menu which got me a full lobster for $13 and my girlfriend salmon for $10. Amazing deal. Food was great. Drinks were well made as well and staff was very helpful. more

It is awful, the steak was tough and service was bad. more

My family of 4 were greatly disappointed this week. On a beautiful sunny Florida day we tried Waterway Cafe...and it fell flat. We started with Caesar salad (way too acidic tasting) and large conch fritters (way too much dough and much less conch). Their curried seafood bowl had little curry flavor, adequate amounts of fish (only, no other "seafood"), and cabbage and onions. The outdoor seating was nice (along the Atlantic intracoastal waterway), but the food was disappointing. And the excellent and attentive service couldn't overcome the food. more

Great service, great view on waterway. They were having a 1980's price promo, so wife had lobster, with all the sides for 13. Can't beat that! Regular pricing was in line with most others. more

This is a great spot to have a rum runner at their tekki bar and watch the boats go by on the intra costal. more

I thought the Conch chowder was tops until I sampled the chicken soup. The words chicken soup are not really adequate to describe the delight of this dish. It compliments anything on the menu more

Service was good, food...just OK. Had a hard time accommodating my request for no carb sides. more

Attentive service, great food and a spectacular view of the intracoastal. Seafood gumbo and coconut mango tuna were excellent. After dinner, sit in the adarondak chairs right on the dock and watch the boats pass by more

We were there on a Thursday evening around 7pm and sat outside. The floating lounge was closed and there just wasn't a lively vibe to the place at all. The indoor decor was dated and It drives me crazy when the trash in the bathroom is overflowing when the place is slow. The menu seemed to be very limited for such a large restaurant. I decided to have the burger and while the taste was good, it was obvious that it was a frozen patty. Have to take points off too for the bun not being grilled and no slice of onion plus the tomato slice looked like it was on its last legs. Sweet potato fries and the iced tea were very good. No complaints with the service either. I won't say that I "don't like" but see no reason to return. more

A little too pricey and a little too crowded but otherwise a great waterfront dining spot that doesn't disappoint. more

Not impressed by the food at all. ordered grilled dolphin...the whole dish was so bland. Service was so-so. View's nice. This is picky, but the chairs are so uncomfortables! Really wish I had made a different restaurant choice. more

We ate there Feb 26, 2011, on the recommendation of a store clerk. This is a huge indoor/outdoor restaurant/bar on the water, right next to the drawbridge. There was a wait for outdoor seating, so we sat at one of the bars indoors, but it's all open air so it was great. Started with the smoked fish dip, which we wanted one more time on our last day in Florida. It was delicious. We saw the size of the orders going by, so we split the almond-crusted grouper sandwich. It was fantastic. Done just right and definitely big enough to share. We ended with the molten chocolate lava cake, which came with two large scoops of ice cream. Very, very good. Our waitress at the large bar was handling many customers, but she took care of us promptly and happily. We had a great experience here and have fond memories of it already. more

I've lived in palm beach gardens for most of my life and Waterway used to be known as a nice restaurant. That is NOT the case anymore. dont come expecting nice. it more resembles a sports bar. what a disappointment! more

I agree. Go for the drinks and the view but avoid the food. more

On a sunny day it's a must stop by land or sea. Food is good enough to accompany the view. more
