Watertown Animal Hospital

I got my new Boxer puppy in Sept 2008 and brought him to Watertown Animal Hospital for his initial first check up. Dr. Cussik did a thorough check up and answered ALL my questions patiently. I was a new dog owner so I had a lot of questions. I have been back for shots and exams a couple times now and just yesterday for my Dog's neutering. Dr Cussik did a great job. His staff is also really great, friendly and helpful. I feel very, very comfortable with the care Dr Cussik and his staff provides and I would recommend him to anyone! Pros: very experienced & knowledgable (canine dentristry experience) Cons: I can't find any more

I got my new puppy last year and brought her to Watertown Animal Hospital. The service was always excellent. Last summer I moved a few towns over. Out of convenience I decided to try someone new. I have a very small (5lb) chihauhau. Dr Cusick, at Watertown Animal Hospital, always broke up her vaccine because the normal dose is just to much for her. When I told the new vet this she corrected me and told me I was wrong. She told me they must have given her the rabies one day and the distemper another. I went against my better judgement and let her give my dog the whole rabies vaccine. My dog has been sick for almost 5 days. I called Watetown Animal Hopital and begged them to take me back. I will never cheat on them again. The are experienced and knowledgable and I will never take that for granted again. Pros: friendly knowledgable staff Cons: n/a more
