Our wedding coordinator, Katie, was worth her weight in gold. She and her assistant were responsible for making sure you and your wedding party are ready on-time for photographs, directing the ceremony, supervising the reception set-up, queuing the first dance, initiating the dinner service, prompting te cake cutting, packing-up our belongings at the end of your reception and ensuring that all of the guests have departure transportation. She steamed bridesmaids dresses, provided one bridesmaid with some kind of tape to go inside the neckline because it was too big and kept falling too low, fixed my husband's step-father's tuxedo when something on it broke, found my purse when I lost it - the list of all the things she did went on and on. It was nice to not have to worry about a single detail on the rehearsal or wedding day.
