Before moving in we were quoted one price, one deposit. When we moved in they tried to charge us an extra $300 because hey told us that promove had charged them money, the owners told them to charge it to us. We called promove, promove called them, spoke with them. After a great ordeal, we were not charged the additional $300.We are one of the 5 white people living in the apartment complex.Things were fine until a knock on my door at 8am one morning with the neighbor screaming cracker b^%$# at me because the night before when her boyfriend was beating on her door to the point all the neighbors were looking outside their apartments I told him she wasn't home, that people had been by beating on the door like that all day to the point it scared my son.Last but not least, they sold the complex to new people who came in and tried to overcharge us as well and not honoring our lease or agreements we had with the prior owners. They told us they would work something out with us and told us to provide them with certain documentation so that they could show their boss and then when my boyfriend took off 3 hours early of work and provided them with all the paperwork they had told us to provide they wouldn't even look at it and tried to charge us an extra $149 than what our lease stated. The woman's father passed away and she came to work anyways and was rude to us, hung up on us when we called to speak with her and said she had too much going on to speak with us about our lease and the job she obviously should have taken time off work from rather than trying to deal with customers when she was obviously too emotional to keep her word that she would take our information to the new owners if we provided her with documentation. No matter who owns the property so far, they obviously do not keep their word and what they agree to verbally. I recommend that anyone trying to deal with them get everything in writing of any verbal agreements you get so they have to honor what they say.
Pros: the only pro is the location
Cons: everything
