The San Diego Watercolor Society gallery is wonderful....Large, light-filled with beautiful watermedia paintings by local artists. Each month is a new exhibtion, and about 90 new paintings. SDWS offers workshops too, and you can see the workshop area, and maybe sign up for one. Oh, and there's a library of art books that you can peruse, or if you're a SDWS member, you can check them out. Friendly volunteers are there to help...Plus, SDWS is a non-profit, all volunteer organization, the kind of organization you just want to support!
Pros: lots of free parking and free to get in!
