Need More Help 10/14/2002

Special Beers are one thing, Service is what you always remember. I was there on 10-12 with a large group and not only our group but two others were complaining of the service - pretty sad when your dining and have to go to the bar to get a beer. Lucky there is a bowling alley and pool tables there, otherwise there wouldn't be anybody there. Good thing waitress added the automatic 15% tip to the ticket - otherwise she wasn't getting jack! Is this place still open? The food used ot be great, but now there is not much choice and the service is not that great. They wil probably be better when they move to their new location next door, but at the moment they act as if they have one foot out the door. Pros: pool tables, darts, beer Cons: poor service, small selection, poor service more

The beer is great, food/service so-so 6/17/2002

Good news first. The beer is excellent, and the billiards area is as well. If this was all I was rating, they'd get 10s across the board. The food is so-so at best, and very overpriced for what it is. The service was just OK, but my I had to stop my waiter in order to get another beer, as he already walked past my empty glass twice. All in all, I'll go back for the beer & billiards, but never for dinner. Pros: Beer, Billiards Cons: Food, Value more

It's a brewpub 6/14/2002

First and foremost, this place is a brewpub. Their beer is excellent--some of the best in the nation. The food is barfood-nothing special, but something to have while you're enjoying the beer! The bartenders are great. Don't know about the rest of the service. Nice pool tables too! Pros: beer, pool tables, free parking Cons: suburbs more
