This place gets one star only because there was no option to give it zero stars. After waiting an hour for my delivery, I called the restaurant to ask about my order. The man who picked up immediately asked me in an irrate voice whether I had any idea where they were located. I replied that I did not, but that SeamlessWeb indicated I was in their delivery zone. The man said they were ""really, really far away"" and that he had never delivered so far away before. At this point, I suggested that if I was out of their delivery zone, he should have told me so. I was mid-sentence when he hung up. It turns out, they are only one mile from us. Needless to say, I will NEVER be a customer here. more

this place is one of our locals and while the food is tasty, the service is appalling. We ordered food at 9pm. At 10.30 the food finally arrived. We called twice and each time it was:""just 5 mins"". To add insult to injury, they overcharged us! Wouldn't mind if the place was actually busy, but it was near empty when we went in to place the order. If you're hungry, think twice before ordering here! And make sure you take a good look at the check! Pros: good food Cons: rotten delivery service more

I don't understand why this place has so many good reviews... the service is very slow, despite 5-6 people working in the kitchen, with only a few guests... Pros: Can't think of anything. Cons: Bad food, very slow and inaccurate service. more

Highly recommended for: 7/19/2007

excellent authentic cuisine, great value, and warm and welcoming service. We're not of Middle Eastern descent, but have Lebanese and Palestinian friends (one of whom owns a Middle Eastern restaurant) and we like Mediterranean food. Pros: Warm and friendly service, excellent authentic food, excellent value. Cons: The neighborhood is a typical small retail business zone. more

Great service!Great staff!Beautiful food!!!They have a very good selection if you are a vegetarian,on a diet,or just plane HUNGRY!!!Might I recommend the fatush salad if you are on a diet.I had that last time and frankly,this salad filled me up.While I was sitting down, I saw this gentleman having something called a 'Falafel Sandwhich"" and I noticed that it doesn't have any meat and I supposed that this was a good vege Pros: A good selection of food. i have try all the restaurant on atlantic ave and some in nyc by far this is the best food you can find in this side of the atlantic its like mom cooking i guess the owners grandma is the cook in this place and that why is so teasty more

The food is good, however, they do not pay attention and deliveries rarely arrive complete. Most importantly, the woman who owns and operates the place is extremely RUDE and not accomodating in the least. Pros: good food Cons: rude staff more

Though the restaurant's ambience isn't exactly memorable, the great food, prices and speedy delivery definitely make up for it. If you go, plan on taking a friend; the portions are quite large, even if you're just ordering the small plates. The tabouleh and yogurt salad are particularly tasty. Enjoy! Pros: Food, price, service. Very friendly and attentive staff! Cons: Ambience needs work, but whatever. more

Delicious Middle Eastern fare 11/18/2005

If you like shish kabobs, falafel, baklawa, mint tea than you'll love this place. The ambience is plain, but the place is well kept. The food is delicious--everything from the vegetable soup to the babaghanouj to the eggplant wrap is worth trying. The prices are fare and the portions are big. Good Convenient Food 8/30/2005

For professionals such as myself in the Downtown Brooklyn- Court Street area good restaraunts are hard to come by. This restaraunt is an oasis in a wilderness of so- so cuisine. This was very good middle eastern cuisine a diverse menu, decent service and a clean facility. I would definately recommend this restaraunt to anyone. It is great food at a decent price. more
