Wat Phou Thai Restaurant

This was my first time to Wat Phou. A friend and I ordered take-out at the restaurant. The hostess was very friendly and helped us make selections, and also accommodated our vegetarian requests very courteously. The food was ready very quickly and was very good. We had vegetarian red and green curry and pad thai. The red curry was fantastic and flavorful, the green a little cooler, and the pad thai was awesome. Great food, they will substitute ingrediants if you ask. Helpful service in selecting-remember your favorite dishes and how you want them. Nothing but praise for the food, the service. Location is hidden, in back of Park and Shop, out of the way. If this place was in a prime location you would not be able to eat here without a reservation ! I was new in town and looking for a good Thai place. I came across this gem of a restaurant and decided to try. I got there late and there were only a few couples dining. I was greeted and instantly felt like I had just walked into someone's home. Service was excellent and the food was wonderful. I had been feeling a little under the weather and wanted some spicy food to clear out my sinuses and this place fit the bill. I even felt better than when I walked in. I usually bring lunch to work but one day my boss asked some of the managers to have lunch with her. We just signed a very nice deal, so go figure. She took us to this Thai restaurant out of nowhere. I see there is a Petco store right across the street from the restaurant but if my boss didn't bring us there I don't think I'd ever find it since I don't have any pet. I tried to go back there again but I couldn't find it. I am sure going to write down the address from this website. The food was very good and the price is very reasonable. I recommend this restaurant, just remember to take note of the address and phone number so you can call them up if you get lost. I love shopping at Fry's Electronic and I heard rumors that they will open a new store in Concord. So we went there to check it out and after driving for a while looking for it we got pretty hungry so we decided to find a restaurant. We found this Thai restaurant and WOW! It is now 100% our favorite Thai restaurant! The foods are excellent with reasonable prices. The service is excellent too. There are plenty of parking available. Like most of you I hate finding parking but it was not a problem at all. I truly recommend this restaurant to any of you who love Thai foods. I guarantee you will not regret the experience!
