Waste Management

Wow these guys are BAD, I live in Picture Rocks, they have skipped the recycle pick up all together, called to customer service to complain and tell them I wanted credit, well getting ANY kind of credit from these people is like pulling teeth, their "so called" customer service people are arrogant, unsympathetic and argumentative. Had to go to the local office in person just to straighten out my problem, and even then they only gave me a $11 credit. Pros: null Cons: null more

....I just canceled my service with Waste Management. I have been a customer for more that 20 years but that didn't seem to matter. They have failed to respond to two previous correspondances and their customer service people, while pleasent really don't care about "Why" their service is being canceled....it's not their job.... more

Waste management is a huge corporation that only cares about the bottom line. To make a long story short, they want to take me to collections over their blunder. Their service is poor and over priced and they do not care about their customers. I have tried to work with their customer "service" department for four months now and the issues are still not resolved. I am at a point where I will eat about $100 just to sever all ties with WM. I am calling Desert Dwellers Disposal or some other company today. I can get the same service for close to half the price. Pros: None that I can think of Cons: Unreliable, horrible customer service, cheats more

Trying to get service from WM was worse than pulling a tooth. When we finally gave up and tried to cancel our service, no one would come out to pick up the cans. Repeatedly, tickets would show up in their system that were incorrect and there were often no remedies for these various issues. The only good thing was that the Customer Reps were friendly and apologetic. Still they needed to get the job done!!! We still have the WM cans on our property which confuses our other service provider so that we have to run out every garbage day to tell them we still have service with them and not with Waste Management. Avoid doing business with these people. They need an overhaul of their entire customer care center as well as needing to teach their drivers how to read and do their jobs properly!!!!
